| | LIVE WORLD CUP CRICKET (T20) |  The official logo of ICC World Twenty20 2012 Sri Lanka was unveiled by
International Cricket Council on September 22, 2011. The event also
released the fixtures of World Twenty20 beginning September 18, 2012.
The final of ICC World Twenty20 2012 will be played on October 7 at
Colombo, Sri Lanka. The "Modern Spin”, logo of ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka was designed by
Australian graphics designing company Witekite. The logo unveiled
represents Sri Lankan culture and Language. In logo, word "T20″ has been
formed from Sinhalese Script in which letter "T” forms a spin bowler
which leads into ’2′ while the ’0′ represents a cricket ball. The two
colors red and orange have been used strongly in ICC World Twenty20 2012
Sri Lanka.The logo unveiled, will be featured in all promotional programs and
activities held by International Cricket Council all over the world. ICC
will also direct its broadcaster ESPN-Star Cricket to start promoting
the event by providing relevant information to that.The tickets of ICC World Twenty20 2012 are expected to go for public
sale from March 1 through website and box office in Sri Lanka. The
ticket management will be outsource to third party with ensure equitable
access throughout world for cricket fans. | - Groups
